We see a little normalcy and hope for the future creeping into our lives, but the path forward is still a long one. It’s time to share stories of positivity, inspire and support each other.
This story begins in the New Hampshire town of Milton where a refined, majestic property has opened offering a modern, creative blank canvas to create unforgettable celebrations. There is nothing rustic about the space – it’s country luxury at its finest. It boasts an interior with wide open high ceilings, exposed beams, thoughtful lighting and a wall with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in. No, this is not a farm with a barn and rustic aesthetic! It’s got glamour, sophistication and is anything but pretentious. If you know me, then you know this is my dream property.
What makes the property even more special is that it was created by someone in the industry, Danielle McKenzie. She listened to what was missing in the New England event community and created something magical. Through conversations with Danielle, I know every detail was thoughtfully and intentionally considered to provide clients with an exceptional experience. She also thought of the event professionals and incorporated touches that allow them to do their best work. It was a labor of love and it shows in every detail.
I was lucky enough to get a few minutes with Danielle to learn more about the visionary behind The Greenery.
1.What would be the perfect way to spend your birthday?
Ironically, I just celebrated my birthday! My ideal birthay is spending the day outside, with my kids and having friends and family over for a cookout, fire, smores and cocktails.
2. What’s your favorite restaurant/food?
My favorite restaurant is Walker’s Maine in Cape Neddick ME. Justin and Danielle Walker have always supported me and TG, and Justin is one of the most talented chefs I’ve ever encountered. Their restaurant is like coming home and relaxing and leaving with a very full belly.
3. what are your favorite hobbies; what is one thing that instantly makes your day better?
My favorite hobby is dancing. ALWAYS dancing. I have music on constantly and any genre will do. Fleetwood Mac to DMX to Springsteen and Ray Lamontagne. Moving whenever the music hits the spot. It’s a part of my everyday life and always makes me feel good to move.
To all the couples starting your venue search, you MUST put this gem on your short list. You will immediately fall in love with the surroundings and Danielle. Oh, and I hear they have some of the best cider donuts, which I will definitely be trying on my next visit! Find out more on their website.
Share with us some positivity – it’s sure to brighten someone’s day.
